Drop Us a Line
Got something to tell us? A question about a story, a suggestion, or maybe a mistake you’ve spotted? We’d like to hear it. Messages go straight to the people who run the site, so you won’t be talking to a robot or a faceless help desk.
How to Reach Us
Phone (UK): +44 20 7946 0239
Email: [email protected]
How Long Will It Take?
We usually answer within a few working days, often sooner. If you’ve written during a holiday or a particularly busy week, it might take a bit longer. We haven’t forgotten you, we promise.
When We’re Around
We’re mainly here during normal UK office hours, Monday to Friday. If you write at the weekend, expect to hear from us early the following week. Email is the easiest way to reach us, because it lets us keep track of everything properly.
Feedback
We’re always looking for ways to improve things. If a story was too long, too short, or hard to follow, say so. Honest feedback helps us more than polite silence.
What People Usually Write About
- Questions or comments on something they’ve read.
- Ideas for stories they’d like to see.
- Typos, mistakes, and links that don’t work.
- Requests about personal information and privacy.
- Just a quick hello.
Making Your Message Easy to Answer
A little context goes a long way. If something on the site isn’t working, tell us which page you were on and what happened. Mentioning your phone or computer and your browser also helps, since a problem can show up on one device and not another. And if you’re writing about a particular story, a link or title is perfect.
Pitching a Story
If you’re a writer with an idea, you’re welcome to send us a short outline. Tell us what the piece is about and why you think readers would enjoy it. We read everything that comes in, but we can’t reply to every pitch, so please don’t take it personally if you don’t hear back.
Your Details Stay Private
Whatever you send us is only used to reply to you. We don’t pass it on or add you to any list. If you’d like to know more, the Privacy Policy page explains everything.
Thanks for Writing
It really does make our day when someone gets in touch. Whether it’s a question, a bit of praise, or a polite correction, we appreciate you taking the time. We look forward to hearing from you.
